Terms and conditions of sale

  1. General information

Pursuant to Article 7 of Italian Legislative Decree 70/2003 (D. Lgs. 70/2003), we inform you that:

  • Seller: AranciaDOC S.r.l.;
  • Registered office: Via Circonvallazione, 37 – 95046 Palagonia (CT) – Italy;
  • Contact: info@aranciadoc.com – www.aranciadoc.com;
  • VAT number / tax code: 05496100875;
  • REA registration: CT-400999.
  1. Subject matter

These terms govern the sale of the agricultural products offered on the website www.aranciadoc.com, in accordance with the Italian Consumer Code (Codice del Consumo, D. Lgs. 206/2005).

  1. Product information

The products offered are fresh citrus fruit grown in Sicily, on the slopes of Etna, with no post-harvest treatments. Each product is described with its characteristics, price (VAT included), availability and any promotions. Where a discount applies, the lowest price applied in the previous 30 days is shown.

  1. Conclusion of the contract

The contract is concluded when the seller confirms the order. The customer will receive a confirmation by email containing:

  • Order details;
  • Total price;
  • Payment method;
  • Delivery times and costs;
  • Information on the right of withdrawal.
  1. Payment methods

You can pay by credit or debit card, with PayPal, by bank transfer or cash on delivery. With a bank transfer, we pick the fruit when your payment reaches us. With cash on delivery, you pay the courier in cash when the parcel arrives, with a surcharge of 5 euros that you see at checkout before you confirm. Card details are handled by PayPal: they do not pass through our servers and we do not keep them.

  1. Shipping and delivery

The fruit is picked on the same day the order is shipped. Delivery takes 3 to 5 working days. In any case, delivery takes place within 30 days of the conclusion of the contract. The products are packed to guarantee freshness and integrity. If an order is incomplete or the products are damaged, you can ask for a refund or for a new shipment. If the parcel is damaged or products are missing, we recommend contacting customer support to resolve the problem.

  1. Right of withdrawal and returns

Fresh products. Oranges, lemons and the other citrus fruit, fruit, vegetables and the mixed box are products that spoil within a few days. For these, the law gives no right of withdrawal (Art. 59, letter d, of the Italian Consumer Code): once shipped they cannot be returned, and you cannot change your mind about the order. If they arrive damaged or are missing, the guarantee in point 8 applies.

Packaged products. For jams, pâtés, oil, almonds and the other products in jars or sealed packaging, you can change your mind within 14 days of receiving them, without giving a reason. This applies only to products that are still sealed: we cannot resell an opened jar, for hygiene reasons, and by law it can no longer be returned (Art. 59, letter e).

The easiest way to tell us you are withdrawing is the page Changed your mind? Return a product: you choose the products, you confirm, and you immediately receive a receipt by email with the date and time. You can also write to us at reclami@aranciadoc.com or use the model withdrawal form at the end of these terms. What counts is the date on which you send us the notice, not the date on which the parcel reaches us.

After you have told us, you have 14 days to send the products back to us, sealed and in their packaging, at: AranciaDOC S.r.l., Via Circonvallazione 37, 95046 Palagonia (CT). You pay for the return postage. We refund what you paid for those products within 14 days of receiving the parcel, using the same payment method you used. If the same order also included fresh products, these remain excluded.

  1. Legal guarantee

All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity of the Italian Consumer Code (Art. 128 et seq.), which lasts two years from delivery. For fresh products, what counts is the condition in which they arrive: if you find damaged fruit, or if something is missing from the parcel, write to us at reclami@aranciadoc.com with the order number and photos of the parcel and the fruit. The sooner you write, the sooner we can put things right: we send the products again or refund the damaged part, your choice between the two when both are possible. The same applies to a jar that arrives broken or defective.

  1. Complaints and support

For complaints or support requests, the customer can contact the seller at the contact details given in point 1.

  1. Processing of personal data

Personal data is processed in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). More details are available in the Privacy Policy on the site www.aranciadoc.com.

  1. Dispute resolution

You can use alternative dispute resolution tools (ADR/ODR) through the European platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

  1. Limitation of liability

The seller is not responsible for any delay or failure to deliver caused by force majeure (e.g. weather events, strikes, pandemics, etc.). Nor is the seller responsible for indirect or consequential damage arising from the use of the products.

  1. Product images and descriptions

Product images are for illustration only. The actual characteristics may vary slightly depending on the season and the nature of the fresh product.

  1. Customer’s responsibility

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided when ordering, including the shipping address and contact details. Any errors that cause delays or failure to deliver cannot be attributed to the seller.

  1. Storage of products

Products must be stored according to the instructions given on the site or on the packaging. The seller is not responsible for deterioration caused by improper storage by the customer.

  1. Changes to the terms

The seller reserves the right to change these general terms and conditions of sale at any time, on the understanding that the terms that apply are those in force at the time of the order.

  1. Model withdrawal form
