The varieties in the AranciaDoc® Orchard

In our Sicilian orchard Mediterranean and tropical species grow together, all grown by hand and picked at the moment of perfect ripeness:

• Dente di Cavallo pomegranate, a typical Sicilian variety with bright pink seeds and a taste balanced between sweet and tart. Very rich in antioxidants and vitamin C, it is the fruit that symbolises natural wellbeing.
• Hass avocado, the best-known and most appreciated variety: rough skin, creamy flesh and an intense fragrance. Ideal for guacamole or gourmet dishes.
• Fuerte avocado, with a delicate flavour and pale, smooth flesh without fibres. Perfect for smoothies and light recipes.
• Bacon avocado, an early variety with a soft, balanced taste, with a thin, smooth skin of bright green colour.

All the fruit trees are grown in Sicily, in the hilly and coastal areas, where the temperate microclimate and mineral-rich soils favour balanced growth and an intense aroma.
