Features
The “carciofina” (baby artichoke) refers to smaller, tender, sweet artichokes.
Excellent to enjoy raw, boiled or preserved in oil, in vinegar or as a pâté, it is a versatile and flavourful ingredient for starters and pasta dishes, typical of the culinary tradition of Southern Italy, especially Sicily.
Characteristics:
Size: Smaller than ordinary artichokes, sometimes almost wild.
Texture: Sweet, succulent and tender flesh.
Taste: Delicate and slightly sweet, never bitter, with intense aromas.
Origin: Italy – Sicily. Product subject to weight loss.

Shipping and delivery
Shipping to Italy is free if your order includes a box of citrus fruit, or from €29 of products; otherwise it costs €9.90. For some smaller islands and hard-to-reach areas there is a surcharge, which we calculate from the postcode.
At checkout you can add delivery to your floor (€5) or delivery by appointment (€4).
