Features
Variety and origin: Bitter Oranges– a variety of blond Sicilian oranges, grown in Sicily. Very hardy.
Appearance and shape: medium-sized fruit
Flesh and taste: blond, slightly bitter and sharp taste , thick, rough skin of bright orange colour.
Growing method: integrated pest management, with no post-harvest treatments or protective waxes.
Nutritional values: rich in vitamin C, potassium and fibre, with about 45 kcal per 100 g
Origin and quality: product subject to weight loss. Origin Italy – Sicily – Class I size 6-8
The Bitter Orange harvest takes place between January and March, in the middle of the Sicilian citrus season.
Order them in season to enjoy the fragrance of the best oranges of Sicily, perfect for making home-made orange marmalade and liqueurs.

With this box, shipping to Italy is free. For some smaller islands and hard-to-reach areas there is a surcharge, which we calculate from the postcode.
