Variety and origin: Naveline oranges with blond flesh, a Sicilian variety belonging to the Navel group, grown in the fertile soils of Sicily. Very hardy.
Appearance and shape: extra-size fruit, about 90 mm in diameter, with a thin, smooth skin of brilliant orange colour.
Flesh and taste: sweet, fragrant and seedless, with a low acidity that brings out the natural sweetness of the juice.
Growing method: integrated pest management, with no waxes or post-harvest treatments, to guarantee genuine, natural fruit.
Nutritional values: high in vitamin C, potassium and fibre; excellent for strengthening the immune system and supporting digestion.

Description
Naveline Extra Size oranges are among the most appreciated and widespread varieties of blond orange in Sicily.
Belonging to the Navel group of oranges, they stand out for the typical internal “navel” formation (the navel that gives the group its name), caused by a small twin fruit that grows inside the skin.
The Sicilian Naveline is characterised by its thin, smooth, easily peeled skin, and by its blond, sweet, fragrant flesh, completely seedless. The taste is balanced, with very low acidity and a pronounced sweetness, which makes these oranges ideal both for eating fresh and for making artisan juices and marmalades.
Thanks to the combination of Mediterranean climate and volcanic soils, Sicilian Naveline oranges develop an intense aroma and abundant juice, becoming one of the leading varieties of the island’s citrus production.
Nutritional information
Naveline oranges contain high amounts of vitamin C, essential for strengthening the immune defences, and of potassium, useful for maintaining the correct water balance.
The presence of natural fibre supports digestion, while the low acidity makes them suitable for everyone, even for those with delicate tastes.
With a calorie content of about 45 kcal per 100 g, the blond oranges of Sicily are ideal as a light, healthy snack. Thanks to their antioxidant content, they also help counter oxidative stress and improve the health of the skin.
