Primosole Citrus is one of the first varieties of Sicilian clementines to ripen, grown in the most fertile areas of the island, where the lava soil and the temperate climate favour the growth of aromatic fruit with an intense flavour.

This Sicilian citrus fruit is a hybrid of Miyagawa and mandarin, from which it inherits earliness and sweet juiciness respectively. The result is a fruit of brilliant orange colour, with a thin, easily peeled skin and flesh rich in juice and completely seedless.

Thanks to its early harvest, between October and November, Primosole Citrus opens the season of Sicilian citrus fruit, bringing freshness, fragrance and wholesomeness to the table. Every fruit is picked by hand and carefully packed to keep its natural aroma and its crisp texture intact.

Ideal to enjoy fresh or as an ingredient for orange and clementine marmalade, clementine marmalade with the peel or traditional Sicilian desserts, it is considered one of the best table citrus fruits for balance and aroma.
